Acta Geoturistica

Acta Geoturistica, a journal of Geotour, o. z., is open-access international research journal devoted to various aspects of the tourism study and research, with special emphasis on, but not limited to, geological heritage (geosites), geotourism, mining tourism and other nature based tourism forms. The journal is published by the academic publisher SCIENDO, with the support of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies (Technical University of Košice), and Institute of Geotechnics (Slovak Academy of Sciences), It has two issues per annum, plus special issues devoted to Conference Proceedings and other collections of papers on a specific scientific topic.

Folia Veterinaria

Folia Veterinaria is an open access, peer reviewed international scientific journal issued by the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia. The journal is published quarterly in English. The aim of the journal is to disseminate innovative, basic and applied research in all aspects of animal science with special emphasis on the most current topics and serve as a platform for the promotion of scientific exchange between scientists and veterinary practitioners and the public involved in various areas of animal health and welfare.

Journal of Risk and Financial Management

Special Issue "Tourism and Green Economy"
This Special Issue focuses on the topic of Tourism and Green Economy and includes the latest research and findings on current and future economic, environmental, and social impacts, focusing on the needs of visitors, the environment, the industry, and communities.
Theoretical and empirical articles on novelty in sustainable tourism connected to use of environmental resources, preserving main ecological processes, assisting conservation of natural resources, biodiversity, and traditional values, with respect to the sociocultural authenticity and intercultural understanding and tolerance, ensuring feasible and stable economic operations, and socioeconomic benefits, are welcome.
Contributions focusing on challenges in energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, water quality, waste management, air pollution, biological diversity, employment, finance, and management of built and cultural heritage as well as brownfields re-use related to tourism and other related topics are encouraged.
