Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice, is a multidisciplinary educational institution that educates young people from Slovakia and other countries. It educates not only to give knowledge to the students but also to help the world fight many problems of these days through these educated young people.

Therefore, the International Conference Science Cannot Wait: New Horizons in Water, Raw Materials, Geology, Ecology, Energy and Environmental and Veterinary Sciences aims to bring young people together with scientist to solve the latest problems that can be faces in the topics of the Conference. The purpose of the Conference is not only help solve the latest problems but also contribute to helping other problems that still need to be solved.

Nowadays, facing the global epidemy, it is of utmost importance to get together, even just on-line, to keep in touch, to get to know knew people, enthusiastic people with new ideas and a huge desire to solve the problems and come up with new ideas.

The 1^st International Conference Science Cannot Wait: New Horizons in Water, Raw Materials, Geology, Ecology, Energy and Environmental and Veterinary Sciences will be held on 29-30 November 2021 as a virtual event (solely on-line) regardless of the pandemic development.
